Motta San Giovanni

Our Lady of the Leandro procession   -  An effigy of Our Lady of the Leandro is taken to the Church of Saint Catherine of Motta San Giovanni on the last Sunday of May. Then, on 15th of August, a procession counting thousands of people leads it to the homonymous Sanctuary. It is one of the most heartfelt religious celebrations of the area.
